After Egira, the stage is easy to follow: north coast of the Peloponnese, with the Gulf of Corinth on the left and the Achaia and Corinthia hills on the right. The route runs through Derveni and Xylokastro towards Kiato. In Xylokastro, Pefkias is the place to know: a narrow pine forest right by the sea, stretching towards Sykia. From there, the road stays flat but not empty: beach towns, railway line, small harbours, cafés and ordinary Greek coast. Near Kiato, Ancient Sicyon sits just above the route, with agora, theatre, stadium and Roman baths now used as a museum. Before Corinth, the traffic builds. Acrocorinth rises above town; below it are the excavations of Ancient Corinth.
