Bitburg serves as the ideal spot for a relaxed snack break before the route dives deeper into the volcanic Eifel region. Riding past the dramatic dolomite cliffs of Gerolstein, the track finally reaches the ancient town walls of Hillesheim. A seamless, high-contrast start to the journey.
