The journey continues southward, tracking the mighty Nakdong River. This long, flat stage is built for pure rolling efficiency on paved riverside dikes. Passing through Sangju, the country's bicycle capital, the route glides by its unique bicycle museum and through wide agricultural valleys. Beyond Gumi, the trail crosses the historic bridge of Waegwan.
A striking architectural landmark emerges near the end of the day: the futuristic Gangjeong-Goryeong Weir, home to the silver, saucer-shaped "The ARC" cultural center. Bypassing the metropolis of Daegu on dedicated, car-free bike paths, the track concludes in quiet Guji. A day of effortless miles and striking river infrastructure.
