The last stage is short enough to end the trip calmly, but it is not just a roll-in. From Amersfoort, the route heads through Soest and Baarn into greener riding, with forest, villa-lined roads and small rises on the edge of the Gooi. After that, the land flattens again. ’s-Graveland, Ankeveen and Weesp bring waterways, meadows, brick houses and direct Dutch cycle paths. Beyond Diemen, Amsterdam starts almost without a hard border. Canals, bridges and busy city streets take over for the final kilometres into the centre.
