After leaving the Havel behind, day two turns rural quickly. From Brandenburg an der Havel, the route heads west across the flat ground around Wusterwitz/Rogäsen and on to Ziesar. It is not a showpiece section, but it gets noticeably emptier: Schopsdorf, Magdeburgerforth, Lübars, forest edges, fields and small roads. Around Loburg and Möckern, Saxony-Anhalt takes over. The final kilometres run through Zeddenick and Büden into Magdeburg – 83 km with only a few, but real, rises.
