The final stage starts quietly in Schwand, deep in the Kleines Wiesental. From there, the route climbs once more through forest, pastures and small Black Forest villages towards the Belchen area. Higher up, the open ridges of the southern Black Forest shape the view before the long descent into Münstertal. In the valley, monastery views, quiet roads and old farmhouses take over. Beyond Staufen, the scenery softens: vineyards, orchards and the Schönberg accompany the final kilometres as Freiburg slowly comes closer.
