The longest stage of the loop first follows Chrysochou Bay eastwards. Beyond Polis, Argaka, Pomos and Pachyammos line up along the coast, with sea views, banana fields, pebble beaches and the wooded Troodos slopes behind. The route then becomes quieter and hillier, crossing remote sections towards Kato Pyrgos and on along the island’s northern side. Via Güzelyurt/Morphou and the coastal towns west of Kyrenia, the day finishes between mountains and sea in the harbour city, with the Kyrenia range close above the road.
