Day two is a mountain loop from Osenbach. After the start, the route first uses small roads through villages and vineyard slopes at the edge of the Vosges before gaining elevation toward Wasserbourg. The climb to the Petit Ballon is the clear centrepiece: long forest sections, open pastures, isolated farms and steeper ramps that feel very different from the flat approach of the previous day. Higher up, the landscape opens, with views across the valleys and toward the higher Vosges. The descent then drops to the northwestern side toward the Munster valley. Around Munster and Soultzbach-les-Bains, the riding becomes lower and smoother again. The return to Osenbach uses smaller roads, with one final rolling section through foothills and villages.
