Grünplan still sits in the quiet lake country north of Rheinsberg, but this stage points straight towards the capital. The first part runs through forest, small settlements and the water-rich landscape around Rheinsberg, where the palace, park and Grienericksee give the day its strongest opening. Farther south comes Lindow, with monastery remains, lakes and a calm town centre. After that, Brandenburg becomes flatter and more open: fields, avenues, pine forest and small villages shape the route through the Löwenberger Land. In Oranienburg, the palace and the Havel bring the route back into a clear town setting. Beyond Hohen Neuendorf and Berlin’s northern edge, the space tightens. Forest roads and suburbs turn into streets, parks, canals and finally Berlin-Mitte.
