Perleberg’s Stepenitz river, old-town island and Roland statue sit behind the start, then the route works east across the open Prignitz. Beyond the town edge come long rural roads, fields, tree lines and small settlements that feel plain in the best sense: useful, quiet, unforced. Near Seddin, the Königsgrab lies close to the route, one of the region’s key prehistoric sites. Towards Pritzwalk and Heiligengrabe, the terrain becomes gently rolling. Kloster Stift zum Heiligengrabe gives the stage its strongest cultural marker before Wittstock appears with its town wall, Dosse river and historic centre. After that, the road becomes more wooded and quieter. The final kilometres lead towards lake country, ending in Grünplan near the Rheinsberg waters.
