This five-day cycling tour links Freiburg, the Tuniberg, Colmar, the Rhine and the Kaiserstuhl in one compact loop between the Black Forest and Alsace. The route leaves Freiburg for vineyard roads, follows open ridges across the Tuniberg, reaches Colmar with its historic centre, and returns via Breisach into the steeper climbs of the Kaiserstuhl. The final stage adds one more Black Forest ascent towards St. Peter before dropping back to Freiburg. Across roughly 315 kilometres, the ride combines vine-covered hills, Rhine plain roads, Alsatian villages, viewpoints and quiet side roads.
