Day three links coast, wetlands and city edges. Behind Alcossebre, the Serra d’Irta fades into the background, then the route crosses the flatter land around Torreblanca and Cabanes. Between Oropesa and Benicàssim, the Vía Verde del Mar brings cliffs, tunnels and old watchtowers above the sea. Further south, the ride becomes more urban: Castellón, port areas, orange groves and the small lagoons near Nules and Almenara. Sagunto adds a historic stop before Valencia’s huerta carries the route into the city.
