The final day leaves Ansbach for quiet Franconia. Small roads, fields, woodland and rolling villages shape the first kilometres towards Dietenhofen and Langenzenn. After that, the landscape becomes flatter and wetter: Zenngrund, Aischgrund, ponds, meadows and long stretches through open farmland. Around Herzogenaurach and Adelsdorf, the route moves closer to the Regnitz area. The last kilometres lead via Frensdorf into Bamberg, where old-town streets, river branches and beer culture close the journey.
