Day three moves from Upper Swabia into Bavarian Swabia. After Biberach, the landscape opens into farmland: fields, small villages, woodland patches and quiet roads set the rhythm. Near Illertissen, the route crosses the Iller, then rolls through undulating country towards Krumbach, Thannhausen and Ziemetshausen. Around Dinkelscherben, green valleys and gentle hills take over. The final stretch tightens towards Augsburg, with suburbs, cycle paths and the historic old town waiting at the end.
