Day 6 runs deep through Verdon country. After Comps-sur-Artuby, the route heads via Trigance onto the quiet roads of the Corniche Sublime, with limestone walls, gorges and views down into the Grand Canyon du Verdon. Near Aiguines, Lac de Sainte-Croix opens wide, turquoise between forest, rock and small lakeside villages. The landscape then softens through Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, Riez and open farmland before reaching the Valensole plateau, where lavender rows, olive trees and broad Provence horizons take over.
