Day three starts high in Đà Lạt and leaves the city to the northeast. At first, the route passes through cooler highland terrain, with pine trees, greenhouses, small settlements and open slopes. Beyond Lạc Dương, the road becomes quieter and more mountainous. The section through the Bidoup-Núi Bà National Park area brings long forest stretches, bends and a few counter-climbs before the character changes clearly: the road drops over the Khánh Lê Pass toward the lowlands. For many kilometres, the route loses elevation, with wide views, dense green hillsides and fast descending. Around Khánh Vĩnh, the air gets warmer and the profile flattens. Longer road sections then lead through villages, fields and outskirts toward the coast. The final kilometres bring traffic, city riding and the sea at Nha Trang.
