Day 5 is the long roll back to Berlin. Neustrelitz fades behind with its lakes and calm, almost classical order, before the route turns south through forest, villages and quiet Brandenburg country. Around Fürstenberg, water is never far away; later the landscape opens up, straighter and more Mark Brandenburg in feel. Oranienburg brings palace-park elegance, the Havel and the first real pulse of the capital’s edge. Then Berlin slowly builds around you: rail bridges, wider streets, louder corners. The finish in Mitte feels earned.
