Day 2 is short, but it carries a lot of South Zealand character. The ride leaves Næstved with the Suså still close in the memory, then slips into quiet fields, small villages and soft rolling ground. Around Mogenstrup, the old glacial ridge adds a subtle change in rhythm and proves Denmark is not always as flat as it looks. Near Køng, traces of linen-making history give the countryside an unexpected layer. Then Vordingborg brings the day to a strong finish: castle ruins, medieval stories and the Goose Tower above town.
