Unione dei Comuni Valdichiana Senese - Montevarchi

Description

The second stage moves deep into the landscapes of Tuscia. After Oriolo Romano, quiet roads, woodland, fields and old tuff-stone villages shape the route. Around Viterbo, the ride briefly becomes more urban, before Montefiascone and the view over Lago di Bolsena bring the day’s strongest shift. The lake stays close for a long stretch, with shoreline views, olive groves and volcanic hills. Beyond Acquapendente, the road climbs again. Celle sul Rigo sits high above open valleys, already close to Tuscany.
