After nine days, flat riding is no longer the default. From Toulon, the route climbs out of the harbour bowl towards La Valette, then threads through Hyères and La Londe-les-Maures before the Col de Gratteloup interrupts the coastal ease: almost 190 m, limestone, pines and a first proper look into the Massif des Maures. Bormes sits above the line, then the road drops towards La Môle and Cogolin. The GPX does not finish at Saint-Tropez old harbour, but on the gulf near Port Grimaud: water, boats, villas, close enough to smell the finish.
