After the high ground around Yecla, the landscape opens into faster, drier country. Vineyards, almond trees and pale fields sit between low hills, before the bare terrain around Fortuna and Abanilla moves closer to the route. The scenery is stripped back and spacious: rock, dust, pine trees and quiet roads. Approaching Murcia, the view changes clearly. The plain becomes greener, irrigation channels and orchards appear, and the stage ends in the city by the Segura — with old streets, lively squares and the cathedral quarter as a strong final landmark.
