The stage first stays on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. Beyond Budva come Bečići, Sveti Stefan and Petrovac, with bays, steep slopes and busy coastal traffic. Around Sutomore and Bar, the route turns more urban, while Stari Bar and the hills behind the coast sit close to the road. Further south, Ulcinj changes the rhythm: flatter, more open, closer to lagoons and fields. The route then turns inland, crosses the border near Muriqan and rolls into Shkodra on the edge of the large lake.
