From Munzingen, the second stage starts with work to do: a short climb into the Tuniberg vineyards. The road rises between vines, field tracks and low ridges, with wide views across the Freiburg basin before the Tuniberg ridge path points the route north. After that, the day opens up. Umkirch adds a compact old-town stop, then the ride turns west across the Rhine plain. The Black Forest slips behind, the horizon gets wider, and the roads become straighter. Near Breisach, the route crosses the Rhine into France. From there, it rolls through the Alsatian plain towards Colmar. The finish has a strong sense of arrival: Little Venice, with canals, half-timbered houses and narrow streets.
