After Neum, the Adriatic coast becomes tighter and more winding again. Near Klek, the route returns to Croatia, with views of bays, karst hills and the island-studded water off Pelješac. Around Ston, salt pans, fortress walls and the peninsula sit close to the road, before the coastal route continues via Slano and Trsteno towards Dubrovnik. Traffic builds, but the scenery stays strong: sea, rock, cypress trees and terraces. Beyond Dubrovnik, the route rolls through Mlini and Župa Dubrovačka to Cavtat.
