From Predejane, the route stays in southern Serbia, following the Južna Morava valley at first. Until Vladičin Han and Vranje, the line is easy to read: river, railway, old transport corridor, smaller settlements and a few short rises. Vranje is the main town stop of the day. It is worth more than a refill: the White Bridge, the old hammam and the Bora Stanković quarter all point to the city’s Ottoman and literary history. After Vranje, the ride leaves the simple corridor. The road becomes more rural, hillier, and the Pčinja starts to shape the day. The strongest stop before the border is Prohor Pčinjski Monastery, with origins in the 11th century. Then comes the crossing at Pelince, North Macedonia, and a quieter run through villages to Vojnik — a small finish after a stage with real borderland character.
