From Bologna, the route continues through the heart of Emilia-Romagna. The road stays flat and follows much of the old Via Emilia. This is not a day of dramatic landscapes, but one of small observations: porticoes, roadside bars, fields, workshops, traffic and everyday life. Modena adds elegant squares and historic facades, while Reggio Emilia offers another urban pause along the way. After that, the ride becomes quieter again as Parma gets closer. A long, steady day through a region shaped by cities, food and craftsmanship.
