From Gabicce Mare, the route rolls through one more stretch of classic Riviera Romagnola: Cattolica, Riccione, Rimini – beach clubs, roundabouts, cafés, Vespas and full summer energy. Then the coast slowly drops away as the ride follows the long line of the Via Emilia inland. The landscape becomes flatter, more practical, less dramatic: fields, orchards, small towns, hot roads. Cesena and Forlì add short urban shifts before the day softens towards Villanova. No big spectacle. More like Italy in work mode.
