From Millesimo, the route leaves Liguria’s quiet inland valleys and climbs towards Colle Scravaion. The road becomes twistier, the villages smaller and the air a little cooler. From the top, the sea starts to feel close, then the long descent carries the ride down to the Riviera. Albenga adds old-town streets and coastal life, followed by Alassio, Andora and Imperia with palms, promenades and salt in the air. After days inland, Sanremo feels like a real reward.
