Description

This three-day West Algarve cycling tour links Lagos, Sagres and Aljezur into a compact loop between the Atlantic coast and the dry inland hills. The route starts with Ponta da Piedade, Praia da Luz, Burgau and Salema before reaching Sagres. From there, it heads north through Vila do Bispo, Carrapateira and Bordeira to Aljezur. The final stage returns to Lagos on a quieter inland line, crossing the hills of the Serra de Espinhaço de Cão and Bensafrim.
